My first week

It actualy did not go that well. I got very ill, and I had to lay at bed for quite some time. Because of the fever I decided to go uncorsetted. But a new week has started so there are new beginnings, right?.

Also I am looking to buy a corset. Making yourself corsets is a lot of fun, but buying is fun too! But I have a hard time selecting a corsetiere. There are some great corset makers out there, like Corinthias, Starkers and Jeroen van der Klis. And mmSher or Lace Embrace ofcourse. But there are many many more. I do want a mock-up service and something that goes long over the tummy. I am looking into edwardian corsetry, but I do not think that it will suit me. It has a very very different shape from victorian corsetry.

But until then I am going to make myself a corset with this pattern. http://www.agelesspatterns.com/images/1061.GIF

Welcome to my blog.

Hi there,

I think that a little introduction would be nice. I am a girl 23 years old, from holland. I am married, and I have a dog and a cat.

Since long I have a love for corsets and the corsetten figure and the victorian wardrobe. I love a small waist.
Beeing quite full figured I can get a propper reduction out of a corset. My uncorsetted waist is 32 inches. With a corset I a going down to 28 inch at the moment. All of the corsets I currently wear are made by me.

What I want by this blog is showing what tightlacing is all about, meeting other corset enthusiasts, and by keeping a diary trying to force my self to go on even tough I might not feel like it. Corsetting takes a lot of dedication and discipline, it is not always easy.
Pictures will folow at some point, please be patient.

The starting point:
Last summer I tried to start with corsetting, but due to health reasons I had to stop. I got a really bad virus. After that I did wear corset occasionaly but not that often.
At the moment I am trying to do as much as possible while corsetted. The corset I wear the mosts is a slightly edwardian underbust corset 28 inch. It keeps my tummy flat while still creating a nice waist. I have several victorian overbust corsets, but they are not that comfy, they are too short to wear all day because they do not cover my tummy, creating that nasty blub.

So one of the firsts things I need is a new corset. I have already ordered the supplies, all I need now is the time to make it.

My goal for this week is to sleep at least two nights in my corset, and wear it for at least 5 hours every day.

love Victoria
